Care Technology (TEC)

Care Technology Service

Essex County Council's Care Technology service launched in 2021 to improve outcomes and support people to maintain their independence. We are supporting thousands of people with over 500 new customers per month.  We are working to increase the uptake of technology at the points it can have the greatest impact. We are also supporting faster discharges through education and training of NHS staff.

This includes the introduction of free Trusted Assessors training for any professionals working with eligible adults including care delivery staff.

To maintain innovation and remain at the forefront of technology, our service conducts regular test and learns, to see how you could get involved, click on X page.
